Condolence Message on the Martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi and His Companions

🖋 Al al-Bayt (AS) International University, located in the holy city of Qom, with profound sorrow and deep grief, extends its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the entire Islamic Ummah across the world—especially to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Guardian of the Affairs of Muslims worldwide, His Eminence Ayatollah al-Uzma Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may his shadow endure)—on the tragic and heartrending martyrdom of the devoted servant of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS), the sincere soldier of Wilayah and servant of the people, Ayatollah Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi (may Allah have mercy upon him), along with his loyal companions.
This painful tragedy—O believers—carries within it a profound and divine message; a message that transcends ethnicity and nationality, addressed to all free people of the world, to every heart that listens and every eye that sees and takes heed. This incident is not merely the crash of an aircraft; rather, it is a wake-up call for dormant hearts and a warning bell for minds immersed in heedlessness and misguidance—minds ensnared by Satan while imagining they are walking the path of goodness and righteousness.
This calamity speaks to us of steadfast and faithful men who feared no blame in the path of Allah; men who never hesitated in obedience to their Lord, His Messenger, and the rightful guardians. Men whose faith in Allah filled them with mercy, knowledge, and guidance; men who attained the lofty station of martyrdom in the path of truth and service to the servants of Allah.
They were living embodiments of divine values, religious principles, the authenticity of Islam, and the path of Ahl al-Bayt (AS). In their words and actions shone the light of faith, sincerity, and selfless service.
Peace and blessings be upon them on the day they were born, the day they were martyred, and the day they shall be resurrected.
Blessed are they for attaining nearness to Allah and the rank of martyrdom, and blessed is everyone who follows their path and remains steadfast upon it.
We ask Almighty Allah to place us and you among these faithful servants—alongside the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous; and excellent are they as companions—with hearts filled with love for Muhammad and the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon them all).
And all praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Peace be upon those who follow guidance and are inspired with obedience and piety.
